"American Idol" and "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alums Fantasia Barrino and Sheree Whitfield are reportedly in talks with Bravo to star in the upcoming season of "RHOA," LALATE reports.

Now that NeNe Leakes has confirmed her departure from the series, LALATE reports that Bravo producers are eagerly trying to find people to replace Leakes and bring the star status and celebrity that Leakes once provided to the show.

Bravo producers are reportedly looking to hire two people instead of one because Leakes was reportedly paid $1.5 million per season to be a full-time cast member.

Now that she is gone, Bravo has more of a budget to offer salaries to additional cast members.

LALATE reports that Barrino will get paid $700,000 while Whitfield will make $600,000.

"BravoTV could with the departure of Leakes have $700K to pay Fantasia and $600K to pay Sheree, if they are interested," says an LA Late source, adding, "Sheeree's ordinal departure, and replacement with Kenya Moore, came as Whitfield's then salary demands for RHOA5 were declined. But LALATE believes that Sheree Whitfield will return if the salary offer is lucrative."

So far, neither Barrino or Whitfield has confirmed their affiliation with the Bravo franchise.

Meanwhile, Leakes is gearing up to appear in the new ABC game show "To Tell the Truth."

Reality Tea reports that Leakes has already started filming the show and took to Instagram to share moments from the set with her followers.

Following the announcement of Leakes' "RHOA" departure, her former cast mate and former best friend Cynthia Bailey told Essence that she supports Leakes' decision to exit the show.

"I think that there comes a time in your life where you have to do what's best for you," Bailey said at the Essence Festival. "She will always be the original Atlanta housewife, she started this platform. If there was no Nene there would be no Cynthia, there would be no Kenya, there'd be no anyone on this show."

She added, "I applaud her for stepping out and doing something else."
