The reboot for the new "Fantastic Four" film is really starting to take shape with a dazzling new trailer that gives fans quite wallop with thrilling sequences of action and origins, according to CBS News.

This film will set itself apart from the last "Fantastic Four" film in 2007 that starred "Captain America's" Chris Evans, Jessica Alba and Michael Chiklis. Instead, this film has recast all the characters and the new lineup consists of Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan ("Creed"), Kate Mara ("House of Cards"), Jamie Bell and Tim Blake Nelson.

The trailer is a little more detailed than its predecessor and clearly shows that it intends to be an origin story, all the way back to when they were children with comical scenes from series star character Reed Richards (as a young boy).

An article on Entertainment Weekly sums the action and story of the trailer up fairly easy. The first look at how Richards became interested in science and building things is what seemed to play a dominate role in the preview. That was also coupled with the late style action of how the "Four" got their powers and their subsequent struggle to get rid of them.

This of course leads them on a collision course with the government, which wants to use their powers to fight their wars or to potentially be used as a weapon. Research and experiment on them could prove to be of quite some use to the military, who could weaponize their new biology.

The incredible action sequences in the trailer laid out a new foundation for outstanding special effects and the trailer was very thrilling.

This new reboot has been helmed Josh Trank and is expected to open in theaters on Aug. 7. With a little than three weeks until its premiere, this preview is sure to rouse more interest in the film.
