Chris Brown's San Fernando Valley home was burglarized in an early Wednesday morning home invasion where his aunt was held at gunpoint and locked in a closet.

TMZ reports Brown was not at home when three armed men forced their way into the home at around 2 a.m. and immediately began ransacking the property after forcing Brown's aunt into the closet. Reports are the thieves made away with money and other valuables before fleeing.

The aunt later called police, but the scene was all clear once officers arrived.

The 25-year-old Brown recently posted a photo of the sprawling $4.5 million, 8,317 sq. feet, six bedroom property online, replete with one room he converted into a walk-in closet to hold his expansive sneaker collection.

Brown purchased the home, which sits on a residential, family-oriented street in Tarzana, back in May. The property also has a soundproof home theater with 14 recliners, a 10-car motor court and three fire pits.

Coupled with panoramic views that also overlook the Santa Monica Mountains, the home also has a saltwater pool with an island and waterfall.

Presumably, it's also the spot where the "Loyal" singer and on-again, off-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran met last weekend for their "hush, hush" date.

"Chris sent his driver to pick her up at 7 p.m. on July 11 in a pimped out luxury SUV and brought her back to his place," a source told Hollywood Life. "Neither one of them is telling many people about what's going on between them. They just don't want the glaring spotlight on them right now. It's all very hush, hush."

Brown and Tran most recently split after it became public knowledge that he had fathered a child with another woman. Though Karrueche had vowed she was done with the relationship, she recently appeared to be softening her stance in a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest.

"Us getting back together...I can't say," she said. "I don't know what the future holds."
