Bobbi Kristina Brown News Update: Family Gathers at Atlanta Hospice, Tyler Perry Pleads for 'Decency and Respect'
Bobby Brown made an abrupt trip to Atlanta on Friday to visit his gravely ill daughter at an Atlanta hospice.
Tyler Perry was also among those stopping by to see Bobbi Kristina Brown, who has been under hospice care ever since her family made the heart-wrenching decision to remove her from her life-preserving medications and allow her to "die peacefully" in late June.
Later, Perry posted a message on Facebook where he pleaded for "decency and respect" from the public at large for the 22-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston.
Perry began his post, writing: "This morning I woke up with Whitney on my mind. I couldn't help but think about all that she must have dreamed for her child. I know this was not her dream."
Bobbi Kristina has never regained consciousness since being rushed to a hospital emergency room on Jan. 31, after being found face down in the bathtub of the Roswell home she shared with boyfriend Nick Gordon.
TMZ has reported authorities have now launched a criminal investigation surrounding the circumstances of her injuries after doctors discovered several other unexplained bruises on her body. Reportedly, the probe targets 25-year-old Gordon as the primary suspect.
People magazine reports Bobby Brown's agonizing trip comes just days after he and wife Alicia Etheredge welcomed to the world daughter Bodhi Jameson Rein in Los Angeles.
Perry is a longtime family friend and has previously visited Bobbi Kristina several times since she was hospitalized and helped the family out in other instances.
Houston died a little more than three years ago when she too was found face down in the bathtub of the Beverly Hills hotel where she was staying. Authorities have since revealed she had drugs in her system at the time of her death.
