A Florida man, who recently appeared on an episode of "Judge Judy," claims the show's "trickery" not only made his court experience a living nightmare but also ruined his life.

Appearing on a June 17 episode, David Kohalisky claims all the show's behind-the-scenes manipulations paved the way for the judge to destroy him before a national TV audience.

According to Radar, Kohalisky appeared before Judge Judy Sheindlin in a case in which he was suing his Clearwater neighbor for vandalism after the neighbor allegedly felled a flag pole onto Kohalisky's car and caused damage.

While Kohalisky insists he was only suing for insurance deductible of $500, he alleges producers try to make him appear money-hungry by requesting that he increase the amount he was seeking. Once on the stand, he claims producers also lied about his witness, including referring to her as his neighbor when he had clearly told them she was not.

The biggest offense of all, Kohalisky claims, is when he was outed as gay after he requested they didn't.

"I told them from the beginning that I did not want to be outed because some people I work with are really homophobic," he said. "On the day of the shoot. I was given a sheet of paper that Judy is given, which basically explains the case. And on that sheet of paper it said that I lived with my longtime life partner."

Kohalisky also claims a segment in the show was edited so as to leave the impression he had been evicted from his residence.

"I run a million-dollar facility, and when my boss saw the show, not only did he see that I was gay and lived with a man, but he also asked me what being evicted was about," he said. "I had to explain to my boss that I was not evicted and that was a lie. I was never evicted because I owned my house and I sold my house."

Meanwhile, Sheindlin's son, Putnam County district attorney Adam Levy, is also the target of a $130 million abuse of power-themed lawsuit.
