Justin Bieber has a doppelganger in Miley Cyrus... but he also has an ally!

Miley went on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Thursday, and she told the talk show host about some advice she received both for herself, and for others, in order to avoid keeping her name on the police blotter.

"You've got a lot of money," she said to Bieber through the television. "Pay people to make sure you don't get in trouble, and party at your house. Buy a house, and add a club to it!"

Certainly, Miley is no stranger to controversy, but one thing she can say that the Beebs can't say is that she's never been arrested or charged with any types of felonies. "It's funny because today, I was looking at -- my fans put all these people's mug shots up -- and they were like, 'I don't see a Miley mug shot yet!,'" she said. "I get the most flak of anybody. I'm not doing anything illegal! I'm doing a lot of s--t but I'm not doing anything illegal! So that's all right. Everything I do is legal in California."

This isn't the first time the former Disney star counseled Bieber: last fall, she gave an interview to Rolling Stone where she gave some more advice to the falling pop star (who wasn't in as much trouble then as he is now). "I do mentor him in a way. Because I've been doing this s- for a long time, and I already transitioned [to being an entertainer for adults], and I don't think he's quite done it yet. ... He's trying really hard. People don't take him seriously, but he really can play the drums, he really can play guitar, he really can sing. ... I tell him that. Like, 'You don't want to become a joke. When you go out, don't start s-. Don't come in shirtless.' But the thing is I think boys are, like, seven years behind. So in his head, he's really, like, 12," she said at the time.
