Marvel fans who tuned into the Super Bowl on Sunday got to see the official debut of the second full trailer of "Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier."

For the first time, the infamous Winter Soldier was featured. The trailer shows Captain America, played by Chris Evans, squaring off against the Soldier threatening to wreak havoc on everyone. Captain America is about to take on the menacing metal-clad villain with the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) by his side.

Below is the official synopsis to help viewers understand the plot of the movie:

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy-the Winter Soldier.

Seems Captain America knows he's got an uphill climb facing the Winter Soldier and tells the Black Widow, "He's fast, he's strong, got a metal arm."

The trailer shows a scene where the Captain is chasing the Winter Soldier down and throws his shield only to have the Soldier catch it so easily and throw it back at the Captain, which sends him flying back.

Other stars featured in the Blockbuster include Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Emily VanCamp and Hayley Atwell, with Robert Redford playing Alexander Pierce.

Get ready for a whole lot of action when the sequel hits theaters 4 April 2014.
