‘Legends of Tomorrow’ News: Details About Hawkman Released [Watch]
Although the role of Carter Hall (Hawkman) has yet to be cast for DC's "Legends of Tomorrow," the details about his character have been released by Ciara Renee to E! News in their spoiler chat room.
The news that Renee released about the upcoming show, which is slated for a mid-season release in 2016, is that Hawkman and Hawkgirl (Renee) will experience a lot of issues traveling through time.
But time-travel is the least of his worries, as he and his lover are doomed with every reincarnation they experience. They are being chased throughout the timeline by the villainous Vandal Savage and the constant battle between the two and the villain will eventually take its toll on them.
They are considered "doomed lovers," but still conquer and survive harrowing odds in the show. Carter is a natural born leader. He boasts of confidence that gives him both the will and power to overcome and succeed. He is also charismatic and his strong-willed nature, which is inherent to most comic book superheroes, could eventually lead him to his ultimate destruction -- or his greatest victory.
Renee was able to feed the scoop to E! News via the show's executive producer Phil Klemmer. See that video below.
In other news for the show, Sara Lance (White Canary) played by Caity Lotz, will be returning to "Arrow" in Season 4. She was killed off in the Season 3 premiere, which laid the groundwork for the entire season.
But now that she has been brought back, presumably by using the Lazarus Pit, she will be in the first episode of "Arrow," then will be joining "Legends of Tomorrow," as reported by Screen Rant.
"The White Canary will be launched in the first few episodes of 'Arrow,'" Marc Guggenheim told E! News. "4x08, our typical crossover episode, will be doing a lot of heavy-lifting in terms of getting the 'Legends of Tomorrow' characters set up and also seeing where they are with relation to 'The Flash.' It's a big episode."
