'Legal Diva' Loredana Nesci Killed In California Home, Police Arrest Boyfriend On Suspicion Of Murder
Reality TV lawyer Loredana Nesci was found dead on Wednesday in her home in Redondo Beach, California, where she lived with her boyfriend and their 5-year-old son.
Police say that Nesci, who was known as the "Legal Diva" and starred on SundanceTV's "Loredana, Esq" in 2014, was killed inside her home in the 1900 block of Nelson Avenue.
Redondo Beach Police Sgt. Fabian Saucedo said that her boyfriend, 51-year-old Robert Reagan, sounded "distraught" when he called 9/11 to report her death around 7:20 a.m. Wednesday morning, according to CBS Los Angeles.
When police arrived, they found that the 47-year-old attorney had been stabbed and pronounced her dead at the scene, reports ABC 11 Eyewitness News.
Meanwhile, Reagan was arrested on suspicion of murder, and is currently being held on $1 million bail, reports the Los Angeles Times.
The couple's son, Rocco, was not home when police arrived, Saucedo told the LA Times.
Before attending law school, Nesci served on the LAPD as a patrol officer in the southwest division from 1996 to 1998. She then enrolled in law school at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut.
In 2004, she returned to California and began hosting a radio show on KCAA-AM (1050) before starring in her own reality series. She also participated in national weight training competitions.
Police have not released any other details about Nesci's or the possible cause of death.
However, neighbors say that film crews were at the couple's home on a regular basis and often heard the couple arguing with one another.
Friends said Nesci and Reagan had been together for years, but recently, Nesci had reportedly met someone new.
"She's gone," said Alex Kyrklund, the victim's friend, on Wednesday night. "I can only imagine her last moments of absolute terror and pain and probably screaming."
