'Tekken 7' Release Date & Update: Arcade Demands To Determine Online Play Add-on, Lady Fighters To Look Like 'The Idolmaster' Characters
Katsuhiro Harada, Bandai Namco's director for "Tekken 7," is encouraging its arcade gamers to provide feedback to improve the game. This is to ensure that any in-game bugs are fixed before the game is to be released for consoles.
He also said that the demands of the game's arcade version in North America will be Bandai Namco's gauge on whether or not they will add online multiplayer mode to the highly popular combat game.
Harada, who was present at the "Tekken 7" panel at this year's Evolution Championship Series, added that the demands of the game's arcade version will let more arcade operators invest in "Tekken 7" arcade machines.
The game will be powered by the "Unreal Engine 4" system, which promises to deliver the next evolution of combat games, Shark News reported.
Regarding the game's much-awaited console release, Harada said that they are still focusing on the arcade version for now. "Tekken 7" will likely make its way to Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but nothing is final as of this time.
Tekken's 20th anniversary celebration coincided with the 10th anniversary of another Bandai Namco game "The Idolmaster." As such, the gaming company have plans to incorporate elements of "The Idolmaster" to "Tekken."
Bandai Namco confirmed that the "Tekken 7" girls will resemble "The Idolmaster" lady avatars through their costumes.

As to why they have stopped elaborating on new characters, Harada clarified it was the organizers of EVO 2015 who decided that gamers should study characters who are already laid out instead of those who have been recently released.
Fighters making their "Tekken 7" debut are Claudio Serafino, Devil Kazumi, Josie Rizal, Katarina Alves, Kazumi Mishima, Lucky Chloe, Gigas, and Shaheen.
