In "Zoo" Episode 4 "Pack Mentality," Jackson Oz (James Wolk) and his team visited Mississippi to find out why wolves would break into a prison and attack people.

The team learned that Evan Lee Hartley (Marcus Hester), the escaped death row inmate, has become the new leader of the wolf pack. It seems he and the pack of wolves are on a mission to kill hunters.

Mitch learned that bacteria has infected the wolves. He believes it is causing their aggressive behavior. Could the bacteria have come from a Professor Robert Oz (Ken Olin) experiment gone awry?

Jackson learned that Chloe Tousignant (Nora Arnezeder) isn't the helpless woman he stumbled upon in Africa. She's intelligent and a good leader, plus she thwarted the advances and interrogation of FBI Agent Ben Shafer (Geoff Stults).

Abraham Kenyatta (Nonso Anozie) learned that Mitch Morgan (Billy Burke) has an ex-wife and a daughter.

Meanwhile, Jamie Campbell (Kristen Connelly) learned that Robert is somehow connected to Evan, the death row inmate turned wolf pack leader. She discovered a photograph in Evan's Bible of the two men standing together.

The Antarctica story was a vignette to the episode where two lesbian academics, Wendy and Margaret, were at a research facility studying birds. Bats swarmed the facility, knocking out the solar panels and more, and Wendy guessed the creatures wanted them to release the birds. Margaret disagreed. The lack of electricity and heat eventually killed the pair.

In the next episode of "Zoo" called "Blame It on Leo," Jackson, Jamie and Agent Shaffer search for a chemist in Alabama who claims to have evidence of Reiden Global's role in the evolving animal behavior problem.

Chloe, Mitch and Abraham fly to Rio de Janeiro after reports of bats interfering with technology. They attempt to find out why the bats are attacking certain technology and come up with a solution before the local government exterminates the creatures.

In the video clip, Mitch, Chloe and Abraham spot dozens of bats hanging from the walkway roof of a Rio de Janeiro apartment complex. Mitch attempts to capture one of the bats, but the colony flies to a nearby power line and transformer.

In another video clip, Chloe, Mitch and Abraham return to their hotel room where the team theorizes why bats across the globe have attacked a Japanese plane, solar panels, power lines and more.

If the bat situation is not enough for the three to deal with, they come up against a ruthless drug lord.

Do you think bacteria could cause the wolves to behave differently? Why do you think the wolves have selected Evan to be their leader? What motive could bats have in attacking technology?
