'Bates Motel' Season 4 Spoilers: Norma, Sheriff Romero Might Take Relationship to Next Level
Fans are anticipating the return of "Bates Motel" to see where Norman's (Freddie Highmore) mind will go next.
The A&E thriller left off with Norman killing his friend Bradley Martin (Nicola Peltz) in a psycho rage. As the series unfolds, viewers get deeper into Norman's head to see what makes him a serial killer.
In the Season 3 finale, Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga) tries to send Norman to a mental facility to finally seek help for a problem she has been trying to bury for so long. He thinks his mother is giving up on him, and he suddenly freaks out.
Originally, Norman was supposed to run off with Bradley and start a new life. Instead, he believed that he was his mother and then killed her.
Meanwhile, Norman's older brother Dylan (Max Thieriot) starts an intimate relationship with Emma Decody (Olivia Cooke).
Emma had a crush on Norman in Season 1, but he was too absorbed in Bradley.
In Season 3, Norman starts to date Emma just to get his mother jealous, but they never get intimate with each other.
All along, Dylan starts falling for Emma and risked his life to raise at least $20,000 for Emma to get on the top of the list for a lung transplant. Will her new organ fail on her?
Venture Capital Post predicts that Norman will try to sabotage Emma and Dylan's relationship. Will he go after one of them next?
Norma and Sheriff Alex Romero (Nestor Carbonell) also started to form an intimate relationship in Season 3 that may strengthen. He helped her to save Norman when he was kidnapped, then he saved Dylan's reputation when he killed one of the top leaders in the drug trade.
Will Norman try to attack Romero? He has a deep obsession with his mom and often gets jealous when she dates other people. Yet, he pushed her down the stairs in the last episode so she might be next on his hit list.
"Bates Motel" will return to A&E in March 2016.
