Judy Greer, known for supporting roles on shows like "Arrested Development" and films like "The Wedding Planner," "Love and Other Drugs" and most recently "Ant-Man," will guest star on the third season of Showtime's hit show "Masters of Sex."

According to Variety, the actress will play Alice Logan. Logan is a recovering alcoholic and the wife of Dan Logan, played by the shows other current guest star, Josh Charles.

Dan Logan is a perfume salesman who gets involved with Masters (Michael Sheen) and Johnson (Lizzy Caplan) when he works on persuading them to bottle the smell of sex.

Greer's character will make her debut in the series when Mrs. Logan joins her husband at a dinner with Masters and Johnson. The scene will reportedly expose truths and changes several relationships.

Greer, currently starring on the FX television show "Married" with Nat Faxon, wrote a book in 2014 called "I Don't Know What You Know Me From: My Life as a Co-Star," reported The Week.

The book discussed Greer's successful career in film and television through a variety of supporting roles.

"You've heard the phrase 'There are no small roles, just small actors?'" Greer said. "Well, I kind of disagree. There are small roles, but when you get a lot of them in a row, you can become a pretty successful actress, and that's what I've done."

The actress spoke to Glamour in may and revealed her struggle and thoughts about the pay gap in Hollywood and the demand for stronger roles for women.

"I may not be able to single-handedly fix the pay gap, but I can open my stepdaughter's eyes to it," she said.

"I can encourage her to negotiate, ask questions, and stand up for herself. I can remind myself to try that too. And in Hollywood I can continue to fight for more movies and TV shows with bigger budgets that value women. Women who are more than arm candy. Women who are layered and flawed, just like us. Women who kick ass."
