Model Lais Ribeiro may just be the next Gisele Bundchen or Adriana Lima. The Brazilian beauty was named one of the newest Victoria's Secret "Angels."

According to Popsugar, the 24-year-old, who was announced as a model for the brand earlier in the year, was part of the line up of models who made their first official appearance for the underwear brand on July 28 in New York City.

Ribeiro documented moments from the Victoria's Secret press day events on Instagram, including a shot of her on her way to the event held in Times Square and one with the other models.

Ribeiro was joined by the nine other models chosen, including Martha Hunt, who is part of singer Taylor Swift's girl squad, Taylor Hill, Sara Sampaio and Stella Maxwell, who is rumored to be dating pop star Miley Cyrus, reports People StyleWatch.

The models all participated in the unveiling of the brand's 'Body by Victoria's Secret" campaign, which features new underwear designs and strives to focus on catering to body comfort.

The brand also shared images and video from the event on their Instagram page.  

The model also recently appeared in the August issue of GQ South Africa, which posed in a variety of swimsuits for New York City photographer Gavin O'Neill.

Ribeiro is only the latest Brazilian to represent the brand. The brand's most recognized faces, like Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, and Gisele Bundchen, who recently retired from modeling, have gone on to become global fashion phenomenons, have walked countless of runways and became the faces of various brand campaigns.
