Microsoft is set to make records and recapture its lost market with the arrival of the new Windows 10. The company has made a huge overhaul on its design, browser and even with its app in the upcoming operating system. One of the many apps to receive a new change is the social networking site, Twitter.

The new Twitter app launched together with Windows 10 on July 28. Users who have Windows 10 will now be able to access the microblogging site directly on the Start Menu.

According to the statement Twitter issued on its official blog, the app that users can see at the beginning of the Operating System's start up is a Universal Windows Application. This means that the same app and interface will be seen when Windows 10 is launched on mobile devices and gadgets.

With the new look and design of the site, users will not need to login first before they view tweets, photos and videos. All these things will be easily accessible in the Start menu.

The tweets and media will all be seen in the live tiles located at Windows 10's Start menu. From the beginning of the login at Windows 10, users can already see the tweets and media.

The live tile format will allow users to immediately see both tweets and media, if there is any attached, immediately in one look.

According to Windows Central, the social networking site redesigned its app in line with the Windows 10 principles of a "personal, relevant and connected" design.

The designers who developed the new Twitter for Windows 10 initially created a design that would show the colors of the new OS from the Redmond-based company. However, it was changed because it seemed too much and the final look ended up with a more classic feel with only a simple dark grey color on the left pane of the window.

Aside from that, the developers also worked to ensure that the design will look flawless on both PC and other devices.

The new Twitter app for Windows 10 have Live Tiles for every tweet, option to upload up to a maximum of four photos in every tweet, Vine playback, tweets and media in the Twitter home timeline, animated GIFs and share photos via Direct Message.

The new Twitter app is now live with Windows 10 globally and users who have installed the operating system can already download it. Twitter promised to continuously send updated and upgrades to the app in the coming months.
