Everyone has a opinion on the controversial Donald Trump rant that happened a month ago, including actress Salma Hayek, who wasn't happy.

According to E! News, while promoting her new animated film "Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet," the Mexican-born actress was asked about what she thought of the recent Donald Trump rant against Mexicans.

"I'm aware that he would say anything to attract attention and create the publicity around him," Hayek said. "If something generates publicity, I would never be surprised about anything he does."

Hayek said she refuses to say Trump's name.

"I'd be surprised if he did something courageous and meaningful that nobody found out about," she said. "This was not courageous and meaningful."

Hayek said with Trump's comments, it will bring more attention to race and discrimination issue. Entertainment Tonight reports in an interview with Hayek, she said racism in America is a huge problem and called it "the elephant in the room." Back in June, Hayek addressed the racism issue further via Twitter:
