Fast and Furious 7 Release Date, Cast & News Update: First Leaked Clip a Premonition? Shows Walker & Gibson in a Funeral [Video]
A supposed 'Fast and Furious 7' trailer is making rounds online but it is actually a funeral video starring the late Paul Walker and the rest of the crew.
It should be noted that although the alleged 'Fast and Furious 7' sneak peek has Walker's Brian O'Connor character in it, the funeral ceremony is clearly not his. Instead, the rumored 'Fast and Furious 7' trailer is a funeral video for the franchise's Han Lue character, played by Sung Kang, says the International Business Times.
The 'Fast and Furious 7' sneak peek is part of the franchise's 'Fast and Furious 6' special DVD and Blu-ray versions, adds the International Business Times.
Though the leaked trailer is not what fans of the franchise are waiting for, it seems that the DVD and Blu-ray bonus provides a good look at what should be expected of the 2015 installment of the film.
Enstars notes that should the sneak peek hold true for the upcoming 'Fast and Furious' film, it is highly likely that Walker's character will not be killed off. "There is a chance he may live although he may retire," the report adds.
The production team for 'Fast and Furious 7' and its whole cast were at a loss after actor Paul Walker died in a tragic car crash November 30, says Enstars. As a result, directors and writers pored over to figure out what to do with the actor's character, Brian O'Connor, in the upcoming film.
A report by the Daily Mail claims that Paul Walker's brother, Cody, will be replacing him in the film.
A source close to production told the Daily Mail, "Producers had a string of meetings right after Paul's death. They soon realized they needed someone who looked like Paul to finish the movie and that's when they approached his nearly identical brother, Cody."
The makers of the film have not yet released an official statement regarding the fate of Walker's Brian O'Connor character but fans should expect that not many details will be released - so as not to spoil the upcoming film which is slated for release April 10, 2015.
In the meantime, watch the 'Fast and Furious 7' sneak peek in the video below.
