Whitney Houston's family has hired extra security for the funeral services of Whitney's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown on Saturday in hopes of making certain Browns family members don't cause any "drama."

Radar Online reports relations between the two sides of the family are so tense that father Bobby Brown's family members waited to arrive at Friday night's wake until after the Houston family had arrived.

"They want to make sure what happened at Whitney's funeral doesn't happen here," a source said of the Houstons' extra security. "They want to stop drama before it starts."

Previously, Bobby's sisters were banned from visiting their niece at the Atlanta area hospice where Bobbi Kristina was under care after someone took a deathbed photo of the 22-year-old and began offering it up to the highest bidder.

The two families have long accused each other of being motivated by desire to claim the estimated $20 million estate Whitney left to her daughter when she died three years ago.

The only child born to Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown will be laid to rest at the St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia at 11 a.m. Saturday. Reports are Bobbi Kristina will be buried alongside her mother in New Jersey.

Bobbi Kristina never regained consciousness after being rushed to a hospital emergency room on Jan. 31, after being found face down in the bathtub of the home she shared with boyfriend Nick Gordon.

Throughout the entire ordeal, the 25-year-old Gordon has been banned from visiting his girlfriend and on Friday People magazine reported he made an impassioned plea via email to her family members "begging" for the chance to attend her services.

"I loved Krissi with all my heart and I am destroyed that she is gone and I need to say goodbye," Gordon wrote. "I'm begging you both to please put your differences aside and allow me this chance. Krissi loved me very much and she would want me there. Please consider this?"

In recent days, Gordon has been spotted out and about in Florida wearing the engagement ring he gave Bobbi Kristina on a necklace.
