"WWE Monday Night Raw" will be live from San Jose, California, the first live broadcast since WWE Hall of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper passed away Friday, July 31.

In traditional fashion, the WWE will roll out a powerful video tribute to Piper during Monday night's show. It is unknown if a 10-bell salute will occur since he wasn't as active on the company's roster compared to Dusty Rhodes, who was hands-on in the NXT developmental system.

As for the main show, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will celebrate following his match against United States Champion John Cena. Although Rollins lost that match, he did legitimately break Cena's nose with a knee strike to his face. Although the actual nose-breaking may have been accidental, the WWE will capitalize on the action. Cena, however, has been removed from the live non-broadcast tour shows, which may indicate he will not be in a match on Monday night.

The other major feud heading into "SummerSlam" is Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker. Neither aforementioned WWE Superstars appeared last Monday, not even Paul Heyman. Lesnar is confirmed for the San Jose show. It was a possibility the big names didn't appear last week because of the city the show emanates from -- the WWE prefers to showcase they are in more recognized cities, even more since Lesnar's "Suplex City" shirts are localized to specific cities.

In the divas division, the three NXT divas officially have wins under their names, and Team Bella's are now looking to add a win of their own on Monday. Paige also has a losing streak against NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks. Alicia Fox apparently suffered a concussion last week, which could put Brie or WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella in a guaranteed match tonight.

In a potential "SummerSlam" tag-team match, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns' feud against Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper continues. Reigns did not appear on WWE television last week, which led to Ambrose to defend himself. In the process, Ambrose may have stumbled into another feud against Big Show. Ambrose lost to Big Show via count out last Monday, but in a WWE exclusive video, Ambrose said he will defeat Big Show. Will the WWE frustrate fans with a rematch? Will Ambrose suffer another loss? It'll depend on WWE Creative.

Big Show is in another feud for the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz and champion Ryback. The Miz has helped continue the feud while Ryback recovers from an infection he encountered a few weeks ago. Miz called for Ryback's title to be vacant since he hasn't appeared on television in weeks.

Other feuds that will continue its development are Rusev and Summer Rae against Lana, with Dolph Ziggler potentially returning within these next two weeks. In the WWE Tag Team Championship picture, The New Day have mocked champions Titus O'Neil and Darren Young with positivity and such actions will continue as there's still a few weeks left before the four-hour "SummerSlam" event on Aug. 23.

"WWE Monday Night Raw" airs weekly at 8 p.m. EST on the USA Network.
