By now plenty of fans know Rihanna loves to take part in traditional Carnival festivities in her native Barbados, so it's no surprise that the singer was photographed wearing a revealing Carnival inspired outfit at Crop Over, the biggest national festival in Barbados.

What many don't know, however, is that the singer's costume was inspired by the "Hunger Games" series.

According to MTV, the "American Oxygen" singer was wearing the Mockingjay costume from a collection of "Hunger Games" inspired looks from Zulu International.

The 27-year-old shared images of her wearing her costume and gave the brand a shout out on Instagram.

The collection features eight different costumes, each inspired by one of the 13 Districts in the book and film series, or symbols like the victors.

The Barbadian singer's outfit featured black wings, a large feathered head piece, and bejeweled bikini bottom and top. The Mockingjay costume is priced at $788.

The singer was photographed from various angles by friend and photographer Dennis Leupold, who took shots of the singer and her friend's derriere, in which they are seen getting ready for Crop Over.

The star's revealing outfit was not the only thing making headlines. According to E! Online, the singer's rumored boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton, was also present at the traditional celebration, and the two were photographed together getting pretty intimate.

Hamilton, who is a British Formula One race car driver, has been linked to the singer since they were first pictured together at the Canadian Grand Prix in 2011 and years after at the British Fashion Awards in December 2014. Since then rumors have spread of the two enjoying secret dates.

While the two have known each other for years, neither has ever confirmed a relationship with one another.
