'Finding Carter' Season 2 News: Show Returns in October, MTV Makes Casting Calls
Fans of MTV's "Finding Carter" will be excited to learn that the show will be returning for more drama this fall and that casting calls for the upcoming second half of Season 2 have been posted.
According to Vine Report, announcements of a casting call were posted on projectcasting.com. The show is looking for cops and teenagers in Atlanta. It also needs actors for roles of high school students, middle school students, teachers, and runners. A "recurring bartender" who is "fit, attractive, fun" and a bouncer are also on the list of roles looking to be casted.
When the show last ended Carter, played by British actress Kathryn Prescott, learned about her father David's (Alexis Denisof) secret son with Lori (Milena Govich).
Carter tries to get to know her brother and is rumored to be dropping out of school to become a bartender. Carter will also have to make the choice between her real family or the woman she thought was her mother.
With Carter in a different environment she will begin to see her situation in other angles and will be introduced to a "racy, underground party circuit," that will be a huge difference from the previous life she was living. Current speculation states that Carter will enjoy this change until she realizes that she needs her family.
In an interview with TVLine, the show's executive producer, Emily Whitesell, discussed the shocking twist and explained how the affair would affect the Wilson family in the upcoming episodes.
"Elizabeth (Cynthia Watros) knows what to be supportive about and what not to be; we're not going to rehash the 'Oh, you slept with her' thing," said Whitesell. "But she'll have feelings about what he should do, and we'll see she's resentful of certain things."
"Finding Carter" Season 2 will return to MTV on Oct. 6 reported TV.com.
