The late R&B singer, Aaliyah, could be getting her own MAC Collection if her fans have anything to do with it.

The singer, who died in a plane crash in 2001, is the latest subject of a Change.org online petition to get the popular cosmetics brand to create a collection in honor of the "Try Again" singer.

Last month MAC announced it would be releasing a collection inspired by Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla. The move was made after fans petitioned for a Selena collection and, by doing so, caught the attention of the brand.

"MAC Cosmetics, we want an Aaliyah for MAC Limited Edition Collection," reads a statement on the petition website.

"Aaliyah stands for MAC's mission of 'All ages, All races, All sexes.' She was a risk taker, innovator, edgy, street but sweet, and R&B's princess. She continues to influence today's mainstream artists and people around the world still love and celebrate her life and music every year!"

According to BET the petition was launched by Jennifer Risinger and Trae Anna Burke and has received the support of Aaliyah's brother, Rashad Haughton.

Haughton explained the singer was a huge fan of MAC products and said her favorite products were the Chelsea Lipstick, Cherish Lipstick, Chestnut Lip Liner, Espresso Eyeshadow, and Biscuit Eyeshadow.

The petition also states, in detail, what type of products they hope to see. This list includes lipsticks, eyeshadows, lip liners, contouring products, powder, false lashes, and eyebrow pencils.

Fans have also taken to Twitter to spread the word and have even started making edits of the late singer in MAC campaigns.
