One lucky person has become an instant multimillionaire after purchasing a $25 Mega Millions lottery ticket in Southwest Missouri last month.

Lottery officials say the ticket from the July 31 drawing was sold at a convenience store in Noel, Missouri, reports The St. Louis Post-Dispatch. This marks the first time that a winning Mega ticket was sold in The Show-Me State.

The winning numbers are 28, 32, 33, 40, 46, and the Mega Ball number is 10.

Mary Scheve Reardon, the executive director of the Missouri Lottery, is urging the owner of the ticket to sign the back and put it in a safe place until it is authorized by the Missouri Lottery headquarters in Jefferson City. The winner can also contact the Lottery headquarters by phone in order to make arrangements.

"If you shop there, please check your tickets carefully," Reardon said. She added that store owner Rio Alce will receive a $50,000 bonus for selling the jackpot ticket.

The winner has 180 days to claim the prize, which means that their deadline to come forward is Jan. 27, 2016.

One person also won the $1 million second prize during the drawing, while 19 lucky winners walked away with $5,000 for winning the Match 4 + 1, according to the Mega Millions website.

The jackpot winner will have two different options to collect their winnings. They could choose the "Cash Option" and receive a one-time, lump-sum payment or they can choose the "Annual Payout" option, which provides annual payments over a 29-year period.

The overall odds of winning any prize are about 1-in-15, but the odds of winning the jackpot are about 1-in-259 million.

Mega Millions drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday after the draw entry closes at 10:45 p.m. EDT. Tickets are sold in 43 states, in addition to the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
