This week's episodes of General Hospital is definitely full of surprises and revelations that will keep the fans tightly glued to their television screens as they witness a marriage proposal, murder suspicions and career-impacting decisions in the longest-standing soap opera in America's history.

Past episodes have seen how Sam and Jake continue to work together, as they try to know more about his identity while denying the unexplainable attraction that is happening between them.

The tensions between the two might be something they both have been trying to suppress but it was not lost on Patrick, who knew the real identity of Jake as Jason, Sam's real husband but decides not to tell her.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the attraction between the two will cause his insecurity to show and will make him decide that it's time to finally pop the question and secure that Sam won't fall back for Jake.

Confused for her strong feelings for Jake, Sam accepts Patrick's proposal halfheartedly.

Meanwhile, Ava has found a way to prevent Franco from revealing to everyone that she is not Denise. Franco helped Nina hide and clean up the dead body along with the knife he found her holding. But Ava knew Nina was there that night and threatened to tell everyone if Franco decides to reveal her real identity, said Soap Shows.

While Ava may have Franco by the neck, she and Nina will soon have a major confrontation and it remains to be seen who will emerge as the victor in the bitter word war.

With Franco locked up in suspicion of killing Silas Clay, Scott might be forced to give up his job as a DA to protect his son.

Fans will also witness several couples break up with Dante and Lulu first followed by Valerie and Dillon.

When Dante learned that Valerie was dating Dillon, he could not help but feel a tinge of jealousy and that is because he and Valerie shared a tender moment before but kept their feelings to themselves.

With Dillon and Lulu bound to be out of the picture, it might be just a matter of time before the fans of the soap opera finally see Dante and Valerie officially together.

The hunt for the real killer of Silas has finally begun with Morgan's parents, Carly and Sonny Corinthos thinking their son capable of such an evil act. But Morgan was appalled that such a thought could enter their minds.
