Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson Relationship: K-Stew Blames Self for Twilight Couple's Demise, Said She Tried to "Own" Pattinson
Kristen Stewart is all in her feelings about Robert Pattinson again -- she admitted, in a recent interview, that she was the cause of their breakup, mostly because she tried to "own" him. However, she also stated that she defends "every mistake she ever made!"
E! News brings the scoop: K-Stew sat down with Marie Claire for a cover story on their March 2014 issue. When she originally broke up with Robert Pattinson, she didn't bury herself into her work. Rather, she took several road trips to New Orleans with her friends, working on poetry, playing guitar, and reconnecting with friends that she had before she became famous. She claims that she couldn't control falling in love with Pattinson, but she admits that one of the reasons the couple broke up is because she was trying to possess him. "If you fall in love with someone, you want to own them -- but really, why would you want that? You want them to be what you love. I'm much too young to even have an answer for that question," she told the magazine.
Stewart says she didn't get a lot of project offers following the demise of her relationship with Pattinson, and, according to The Stir, even though she briefly makes mention of her affair with Rupert Sanders, she doesn't directly come out and say that her affair with the very-married director contributed to the demise of her relationship with Pattinson (even though it succeeded in destroying the director's marriage to Liberty Ross). And, never fear Twi-hards: she completely defends what she did. "I stand by every mistake I've ever made, so judge away," she said.
It's quite possible, too, that having an affair with a married director that went so public was yet another reason Stewart didn't get a lot of acting offers. Or, it could also be that she has no real acting ability.
The only regret she has? Not pursuing her college education, choosing instead to chase fame. Nice to know.
