Aug. 11 marks the one year anniversary of the death of the iconic actor and comedian Robin Williams. The actor, who began his career doing stand-up comedy and had over 70 film credits to his name, left a dark cloud over Hollywood in 2014 when news of his death surfaced.

Over his long and influential career, the comedian worked with a few Latino actors. Below are five stars who got the opportunity to share the screen with the beloved star.

1. Jennifer Lopez

The Puerto Rican singer and actress rose to fame with her role in "Selena," but she is also known for her role as Robin Williams' teacher, Miss Márquez, in the film, "Jack." In the film, Williams played the role of Jack Powell, a boy who ages faster than normal.

After the actor's death, the actress expressed her sadness and condolences to his family on Twitter.

2. Tony Plana

The Cuban actor and director, known for his roles in "Ugly Betty," "The Fosters," and "Primal Fear" appeared in the film "The Best of Times" with the late comedian. In the film Plana plays Chico and Williams starred as the films protagonist Jack Dundee.

3. Mariah Carey

The singer has appeared in a few films, including Lee Daniels' "The Butler" in 2013. In the film Carey played the mother of protagonist Cecil Gaines, while Robin Williams played president Dwight D. Eisenhower. The late actor wore a bald cap for the role and told ScreenSlam that "it was an interesting character for him and a tough job."

4. Alexa PenaVega

The 26-year-old Colombian actress, who rose to fame after appearing in the "Spy Kids" franchise as Carmen Cortez, appeared as Molly Dwyer in the 1995 film "Nine Months." In the film Williams played Dr. Kosevich.

5. Roberto Aguire

Aguire is the last actor to work with Williams. The 27-year-old Mexican-American starred alongside Williams in his last film "Boulevard." In the film, Aguire plays a hustler named Leo, whom Williams' character, a 60-year-old man struggling to comes to terms with his sexuality, pays for companionship.

Aguire spoke to The Huffington Post about working alongside the actor and shared his thoughts on the loss the industry suffered.

"I think it's so sad that we all lost such a genius of our time and such a humble and beautiful human being. But it's beautiful to see how much people loved him, both the people that were close to him and the people that only knew him through his movies," said Aguire.
