"Bachelor in Paradise" contestant Joshua Albers is claiming that show producers have made him look like a drug addict due to the editing of Sunday's episode 3.

Joshua Albers told TMZ that the story he shared on Sunday's episode about a nightclub that sells Molly-laced coconuts is something he was relaying that a crew member told him. He claims the editing makes it seem like the story was about his lifestyle and using Molly, but it's not.

In the video clip from Sunday's "Bachelor in Paradise," Albers is in a swimming pool with fellow contestants and starts a conversation about Molly.

"Listen to this... there's a place in L.A. where they serve coconuts and mixed with the coconut water -- the milk on the inside -- is Molly," he says.

"You mean the drug?" Ashley Iaconetti asks.

"Yeah," he says. "It's thirty dollars for a coconut. And you drink it and you are very happy."

Molly is the street name for a psychoactive drug called methylenedioxymethamphetamine, which is also commonly referred to as MDMA. It is the active ingredient in the party drug Ecstasy. The drug causes euphoric and empathogenic effects.

"It sounds very illegal," Iaconetti tells Albers.

"It's very badass," he says.

There's a pause before Albers adds, "Do you know how much fun that would have been if we did that on a group date and everyone had their own coconut?"

Iaconetti, who claims to have never done a drug in her life, later tells producers that now everyone is wondering about Joshua's lifestyle. His "whole drug and party thing" is making her wonder what kind of guy he is.

"If you are looking for a husband, you don't want to hear that he's popping pills," she says.

Albers admitted to TMZ that he tried Molly once. He was so upset about the way he was portrayed on the show that he called his parents, fearing their reaction.

"It wasn't too bad because they know the effect of editing," he told TMZ. "Plus, they know that if it was as big a deal as they made it out to be, there would have certainly been footage of JJ running his mouth about it."

By JJ, Albers is referring to JJ Lane, another cast member on the show.

"I don't know how 'Bachelor in Paradise' producers sleep at night," he added.
