Bobbi Kristina Death News Update: Nick Gordon Being Consulted on Whitney Houston Film Scripts?
Nick Gordon is now receiving scripts seeking his approval for a movie about the life and times of Whitney Houston.
According to Radar Online, that job previously fell to Houston and Bobby Brown's now deceased daughter, 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina, up until the time she was found face down in the bathtub of the home she shared with Gordon in late January.
With Bobbi Kristina now buried alongside her mother at a New Jersey cemetery, the website reports "the rights to an authorized telling of the Whitney Houston story has reached fever pitch," which explains how Bobbi Kristina's onetime live-in boyfriend has become a part of the equation.
At the time of Bobbi Kristina's death, Gordon was on the outs with many of her family members, and was banned from visiting her at the hospital and the hospice where she was treated. He was also prohibited from attending any of the services held after she passed away late last month. Sources hint the fact that he is now being consulted in any way about Whitney or Bobbi has left family members outraged.
"The family is sickened by this," said a source. "They just want to be left alone to deal with the loss of a very young and valuable member of the family, but at the same time they understand the demand from fans to have their story told from an accurate standpoint."
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old Gordon faces a multimillion wrongful death suit filed by Bobbi Kristina's conservator Bedelia Hargrove that accuses him of providing her with a "toxic cocktail" that contributed to her death. Reports are Gordon is also the target of an ongoing criminal investigation probing the circumstances of her death.
Through his team of high-powered attorneys, Gordon has denied all the accusations and last week hinted that he was planning to hold his own, private memorial service for his now buried ex-girlfriend.
