"The Daily Show" chair behind the anchor desk is a mighty large seat to fill. But now that Jon Stewart's reign is over, the new host Trevor Noah has taken to it in a comical new video that officially puts the comedian in charge for the first time on the legendary show.

The new teaser is a slow and vague introduction to Noah, but it is nevertheless funny and informative. It is known as the "Same Chair, Different *ss" video and features a slow entrance by Noah onto the set, according to Variety.

The video plays out to Kanye West's hit song "Power." Noah walks out in slow motion, and the video displays the set and the chair and on-screen a graphic says, "Same Chair," showing the new host sitting from a "bottom" view and then says, "Different *ss."

It's a comical reference to the theme moving forward on the show, which is expected to continue the legendary format that Stewart left behind. That of course means Noah is expected to maintain the focus on making fun of the news.

"In terms of content on the show, we're still dealing with the same issues. Issues are not really changing in America and the world. It's just a different angle. My angle," Noah said at the TCA event this year.

That is something that Stewart has done for years. He's taken current events on the political, social and international scene and made light of some of the more dimwitted aspects of how leaders have handled the issues.

Although he mostly focused on conservative leaders on the state and federal level, Democrats were also on his radar on several occasions.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Noah came on to "The Daily Show" back in December last year. He has made a few appearances as a correspondent, but most of his fame comes from South Africa, where he broke out as a comedy superstar in the country.

Noah's first show will air on Sept. 28. See the teaser video below.
