Manchester United Ready to Bid €139 Million for Real Madrid's Gareth Bale
According to a report from Mail Online, United boss, Louis Van Gaal, has told chief executive, Ed Woodward, to get ready for the Gareth Bale bid. The Dutch manager has told friends that Bale can be persuaded to leave Madrid for United.
United still have a strong interest in Bayern's Thomas Müller and Southampton striker, Sadio Mané. In the same report, Saints manager, Ronald Koeman, insisted that nobody is for sale in the club squad. When asked about his €85 million transfer fee, Thomas Müller has been quoted by Express saying, "It's basically crazy the numbers which are currently kicking around in football - that's just business."
The Red Devils are in the middle of a transfer saga with keeper David De Gea. Real Madrid's 18-year-old Spanish prospect, Borja Mayoral, is said to be the main piece to pry De Gea away from Old Trafford.
Manchester City Close to Signing Wolfsburg's Kevin De Bruyne
According to Sky Sports sources, Manchester City are close to a deal with Wolfsburg to acquire the services of Belgian international Kevin De Bruyne. The asking price of the German team is around €70 million and City are willing to pay the amount.
The transfer talks have taken its toll on the player, according to his manager Dieter Hecking. He told Bild, as quoted by Sky Sports, "Kevin is a bit tired at the moment because there is so much happening around him. He finds himself in a situation that is on his mind all the time, just like it has been over the past few weeks. We are just trying to get him in the best shape possible."
City have just completed the signing of defender Nicolás Otamendi, adding him to the list of their impressive signings, which include Raheem Sterling, Fabian Delph, Patrick Roberts and Enes Ünal.
Chelsea Ready to Offer Bids for John Stones and Paul Pogba
The reigning English champions are looking to improve their team after two winless starts in the new season. Chelsea have recently signed Pedro, prying away the forward from Manchester United.
In a report from The Mirror, Chelsea will bid for the fourth time for Everton defender, John Stones. Stones is said to be ready to hand his transfer request, per The Sun.
The Blues are also planning to bid €83 million for Juventus and France midfielder, Paul Pogba. In the same report, Chelsea will use Juan Cuadrado as a key piece in the negotiation for Pogba.
