While Cláudia Alende may not be participating in this year's Miss Bumbum competition, the 2014 runner-up has garnered plenty of attention for her resemblance to American actress Megan Fox.

According to The Inquisitr, the model's recent images on Instagram have everyone seeing double because of her undeniable resemblance to Fox.

Both the model, who is from Paraná, and Fox have dark and arched eyebrows, blue eyes, noticeably high cheekbones and plump lips. On Instagram, Alende can be spotted puckering on certain images and showing off her light eyes, among other assets, in others.

Alende isn't shy about showing off a lot of skin on social media and, between that and her similarities to Fox, she has seen a rise in social media followers. The model now has 1.2 million followers on Instagram.

Fox, however, is no longer comfortable with posing suggestively and blames her curves for it. The 29-year-old actress told W Magazine, in 2010, that it's tough for her to try high fashion and not look like a sex symbol.

"There are some women you could put in underwear and photograph them, and it looks really classy and it doesn't necessarily provoke a pinup image," she said. "But with me it does, immediately, as soon as I'm in underwear."

Alende, however, indulges in it and was even open about having work done before the 2014 Miss Bumbum competition. The Brazilian model wasn't disqualified from the pageant because contestants are allowed to have plastic surgery except for on their derrieres, reported Daily Mail.

When asked about why she went under the knife, the 22-year-old admitted to getting work done because everyone else was doing it and said that she entered the pageant because it would allow her to become a television personality or actress.

"The contest is famous around the world, and I want to be recognized around the world and become famous, too," she said. 

Fox is currently making headlines after announcing her split from husband Brian Austin Green, reported E! Online. The couple, who have two children together, have been married five years and together for 11.
