Thalía Turns 44: A Look Back At Some of Her Best Fashion Moments [Photos]
In honor of Thalía's turning 44 on Aug. 26, we are taking a look at some of the "Queen of Latin Pop's" best fashion moments, many of which define her career as well as inspired trends over the last 25 years.
1990
In 90s the young star was known for her curly hair and petite frame. After releasing her first studio album, titled "Thalía," in 1990 the singer's music as well as her looks were considered provocative for the time period. Before many of today's stars like Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé or Becky G started rocking leotards on stage, Thalía had the look down.
2000
Who could forget the dress the star wore for her wedding to Tommy Mottola? The star went full-on princess for the couple's special day. Her dress featured a full skirt with embellishments, off-the-shoulder sleeves and fitted bodice. The singer wore a tiara and veil with her hair styled in a Cinderella-inspired bun.
2002
Cropped tops, baggy cargo pants, studded belts and crinkled hair? Thalia has done it all. The stylish star showed off her fit figure and youthful sense of style during an autograph party in 2002.
It seems that everyone is wearing sheer dresses these days. Thalía rocked the look back in 2002 at the Latin Grammy Awards. She wore a blue jewel-toned dress that featured a Bollywood-inspired veil with a matching pair of sandals to the ceremony.
2005
What says Victoria's Secret more than black lace? The singer made sure to incorporate the material into the details of her little black dress at the brand's fashion show.
2006
At the Latin Grammy's, Thalía went with a gold fitted gown that embodied Hollywood glamour. The star let the dress do all the talking and kept the rest of her look basic with minimal jewelry and simple, but elegant, wavy hair.
2009
High-waisted pants may be a current trend everyone is rocking, but Thalía has been pictured wearing them since 2009. The singer not only used the pant style to define her waist but to also offset her menswear-inspired shirt. Add the puffy sleeves and edgy hairstyle and you've got a look that combines femininity and masculinity all in one.
2013
At the 2013 Costume Institute Gala for the "PUNK: Chaos to Couture" exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art the singer embodied punk with her edgy hair and black dress. However, she made sure to add glam by choosing a sequined dress.
2015
At Premios Lo Nuestro, the star made a messy braid looked elegant with a sheer and embellished dress. The singer looked like a superstar in the trendy dress, which also featured a train made of tulle.
Is she really 44? The Latina looked ageless in the stunning yellow cut-out dress she wore to the 2015 Tony Awards. The actress and singer showed off just enough skin to prove she still has just the right amount of sex appeal and class.
