The jailbreak team Pangu has created a proof of concept jailbreak solution for iOS 8.4.1. However, the jailbreak solution will not be available to the public, Tech Times reports.

Last week at the HackPwn 2015 security conference the Chinese developer team showcased their capability to jailbreak Apple's latest operating system update iOS 8.4.1. 

Apple was able to release security patches for 40 known exploits found in iOS 8.4. These exploits are what the TaiG team used to jailbreak iOS 8.4. 

Even with the latest security patches, Pangu was still able to find a way to jailbreak iOS 8.4.1 just a week after Apple released the update to the operating system. iOS 8.4.1 is likely Apple's last update to the iOS operating system before iOS 9 is released in the coming months.

The Pangu team is not planning on releasing their jailbreak solution for iOS 8.4.1 to the public, the team said on their Weibo page. Pangu wants to keep the exploits it used to jailbreak 8.4.1 away from Apple because they plan to use them in the iOS 9 jailbreak too. It is still useful to know that jailbreaking the latest iOS updates continues to work and it provides hope that future jailbreaks will be successful too.

Users are advised to stick with the iOS 8.4 jailbreak and not to update their operating systems to iOS 8.4.1, according to Gotta Be Mobile. Apple has stopped signing iOS 8.4, which means once users upgrade to iOS 8.4.1 they will not be able to go back to their iOS 8.4 jailbreak. That would mean they would have to wait until an iOS 9 jailbreak solution was discovered. The latest proven iOS 8.4 jailbreak comes from the TaiG team. 

Jailbreakers have been pretty pleased with the jailbreak solutions available to them over the past few months. It seems that whenever a new iOS is released, there is a jailbreak utility tool created very quickly after that.
