Jordan Brand is set to release a popular colorway of one of their best retro models again this weekend.

Nike Blog confirmed that the Air Jordan 6 Retro Low will be rereleased in "Chrome" edition, which is officially listed as the Black/Metallic Silver-White colorway of this popular model.

The Air Jordan 6 Retro Low "Chrome" edition features a black-based upper part combined with black laces and metallic silver hints. It also sports a black tongue with metallic silver Jumpman logo and chrome lacelock. It is finished off with black and metallic silver midsole that sits atop a translucent blue outsole.

This edition, which has been getting a lot of attention since rumors about its release surfaced online, will be available on Saturday at Jordan Brand accounts in the United States, Nike Blog confirmed. Retail price is set at $170 per pair.

According to Sneakernews, Jordan Brand has high hopes for this much-improved model, which was first released in 2002. The company's expectations are always high for popular shoes that were remastered and rereleased on the market.

Earlier this year, Jordan Brand made a lot of noise with the remastered Jordan Retro kicks. The remastered Air Jordan 4 Retro "Oreo" and "Columbia" made waves on the sneaker market, and Jordan Brand, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, is expecting the same from the Air Jordan 6 Retro Low "Chrome."

"It's always big news when an original colorway of the Air Jordan sneaker is re-released," Sneakernews wrote. "OG releases are always top performers and typically set the pace for the calendar year and revive past celebrations that were tied to that particular shoe."

Official photos of this model were already unveiled by Nike Blog, while more images are available on this link from Sneakernews.
