iPhone 6s & 6s Plus Features: Spiced Up Animated Wallpapers Exclusive to 2015 Flagship Devices?
Apple has stayed ahead of the competition with impeccable attention to detail and providing the features their clients enjoy. New reports say the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus is set to wow in their upcoming September launch.
The time for a closer look is fast approaching as Apple sets the date of their highly-anticipated launch on September 9. According to GSM Arena, the event will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California. This particular venue can hold around 7,000 people, which means this could be the biggest launch of the company yet.
According to a report from 9to5Mac, the new iPhone 6s will be taking a cue from the wildly successful Apple Watch. The site's sources said the flagship phones of the brand will be featuring motion wallpapers similar to the animated screen of the Apple Watch that drew positive feedback from the audience. Options include colorful jellyfish, multi-colored butterflies, brightly colored flowers and even a gold koi pond fish wallpaper.
Although the sources cautioned that it is still possible to pull out the feature from the final product that will be launched, 9to5Mac reported that this is unlikely due to its presence in the leaked images.
Apple chief design officer Jony Ive already referenced the motion wallpapers in an interview with The New Yorker earlier this year. In the interview, he said that the iPhone 6 screen already "feels very, very old." He went on to explain that the technology of the Apple Watch's screen is much more advanced so the iPhone 6 graphics offer noticeably "much less magic."
However, the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are not limited to an upgraded aesthetic. In another report by 9to5Mac, other updated features assure the new flagship mobiles will be a wholly improved experience, especially with the Force Touch. The special feature provides faster, snappier actions as it allows people to skip a few steps for a more user-friendly experience on core applications like Maps and Music.
Other upgrades that iPhone fans can look forward to are a better camera with possible 4k recording, an A9 processor and new cellular chips.
While the spotlight is undoubtedly on the 6s and 6s Plus, GSM Arena also reported that there have been rumors that Apple is planning a 6c version of the iPhone following the more affordable iPhone 5c that hit the market in 2013. Also in talks are the iPad Pro and new Apple TV.
