As if "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" needed more dramatic actors to fill out its roles for comedic action, the producers of the show have added a familiar name to the list for season 3 this fall on Fox, according to Entertainment Weekly.

There is no shortage of light-hearted drama on this Fox comedy, which has seen a few incarnations of leading roles dissolve and rebuild. Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) is now the public relations liaison for the NYPD, and last season, Jake (Andy Samberg) and Amy (Melissa Fumero) steamed it up a notch.

But now, Joe Lo Truglio's character will get a new love interest in the form of a New York City art gallery proprietor, played by famed "24" actress Mary Lynn Rajskub. The report states that she will be in at least one episode this season, but there has been no other report as to whether her role will be recurring or not.

Fans also already know that Bill Hader will be coming in to fill Holt's shoes as the captain of the Nine-Nine unit, but he has not been cast as a recurring character and may not be sticking around. Of course, this is broadcast television, and they change their minds more often than Brett Favre.

Truglio's character will be so enamored with Rajskub that he stops at nothing to win her heart. This will no doubt lead to some highly comical situations that series star Samberg could play a key role in.

Variety reports that Rajskub and Hader have both been listed as guest stars for the season, and there is still hope that Holt will make it back to the Nine-Nine unit as the head man in charge. Fans will have to wait until the fall premiere to see how that plays out.

Fox has scheduled the premiere of season 3 for "B99" on Sept. 27 at 8:30 p.m. EDT.
