Leave it to a Gossip Girl alum to keep news like this under wraps - After a three-month engagement, US Weekly is reporting that Leighton Meester and Adam Brody have tied the knot in a secret wedding over the weekend.

The 34-year-old OC star and 27-year-old Gossip Girl queen Bee have been dating since February 2013. It was reported that the pair knew each other since 2011 and have been friends ever since. Insiders say the pair have always been 'always close and friendly' since they met.

The engagement announced only a few weeks ago was thought to be planned for this summer. With source close to the couple states, "Right now their plan is to get married next summer. They are still deciding if they want a destination wedding or if they'll marry in southern California somewhere."

Brody was spotted by Daily Mail on Wednesday sporting a ring on his left hand as he left a boxing gym in Los Angeles.

During the time of their engagement: 'Leighton and Adam are crazy about each other and have talked about getting married eventually. It seems Meester was caught by surprise and didn't think he would be proposing so soon. "It was the surprise of her life and she's ecstatic!"

Adam has been linked to OC colleague Rachel Bilson as well as director Lorene Scafaria while Leighton has previously dated Austin Powers actor Aaron Himelstein.

So the question is whether or not the pair is already married. Presently, there is no word from the camp of both starts.

This reported wedding will make it a first for both actors. They have worked together on a 2011 film titled The Oranges as well as an upcoming comedy Life Partners. How fitting to have worked on a project titled as such so recently when right now, they could already be life partners.
