Sony Xperia Z5 Specs, Release Date & Rumors: 'Premium' Edition To Feature 4K Display?
After rumors about the upcoming Sony Xperia Z5 had surfaced on the internet, according to the Phone Arena, the hype did not just end there. Apparently, Sony Xperia Z5 has three models all set to launch by September.
The three models namely Sony Xperia Z5, Sony Xperia Z5 Compact and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium have all been geared up to make an appearance on their 2015 debut. The main and initial flagship phone, the Sony Xperia Z5, is equipped with an octa-core 2.0 GHz CPU and a Snapdragon 810 SoC. It will also feature a 5.2 screenndisplay with a resolution of 1080 x 1920.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact precedes its name by having a smaller screen display of 4.6 inches with 720 x 1280 HD resolution. The last is the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, which will provide the consumer a rather bigger screen display of 5.5 inches with a 4K resolution screen. The Premium version was able to introduce more of its specs prior to its release including a 23-megapixel back-facing camera.
Xperia Blog was able to feature some images of the flagship phones, and if they were to be believed, the images were sleek and the designs were very competitive. While Sony has been more concentrated on providing a conceptual and agreeable phone specs to its consumers, their designs have not been compromised on any of their previous and current flagship phones. Apart from that, they have shied away from the common designs of smartphones nowadays, keeping their phone lineup fresh and unique.
The featured design on the blog shows a much more distinct and formal aesthetic with a gold casing and rounded highly defined sides. The Xperia logo prominently sits on the side of the phone, something that other flagship phones mostly failed to incorporate.
According to Android Authority, all three models are said to have a Snapdragon 810 octa-core SoC with a 3GB Random Access Memory and 32GB internal storage. The 23-megapixel back camera and eight-megapixel front camera have all been integrated to the three Sony Xperia models.
The Sony Xperia Z3 era has been well-received by the consumers, and there's no reason the Z5 models will not make the cut. Sony has the only disadvantage of not issuing any phablets yet, but if the brand's smartphones are to be relied on, they are making a mark in the tech world.
