LeBron 13 Release Date & Sneak Peak: Leaked Photos Reveal 'Miami Heat' Colorway
Sneakerheads need to wait for more than a month before they can get their hands on the new signature shoe of LeBron James, but more details are starting to surface online.
Never before seen photos of the LeBron 13 were released by Hupu and posted on Nike Talk, showing new details of the soon-to-be-released signature shoe of the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar.
Nike has yet to give an official name to this red-based colorway, but Sneakernews pointed out that it could have been a perfect colorway for James if he opted to stay in Miami.
"This black/red color-combo is certainly more Miami than it is The Land, so it's almost a reminder of what the LeBron 13 would look like if the six-time NBA Finals visitor kept his talents in Florida," Sneakernews wrote.
The leaked LeBron 13 colorway sports a red-based upper part with black lining on the Nike Swoosh. It is finished off with a speckled white midsole and translucent outsole with black hints along with the popular Hex-Zoom system that were installed to provide maximum impact protection.
Aside from the Hex-Zoom system, Sneakernews also noticed new features or details that were not seen on previous LeBron models. The LeBron 13 will have a special logo with a slashed Roman numeral XIII, which can be found on the insole and rear ankle.
The leaked images also revealed that the popular LJ crown logo is present on the toe portion of the outsole. All leaked photos were also posted by Sneakernews on their official Twitter page.
Previous reports indicated that two colorways of the LeBron 13 will hit the market in October. The leaked colorway appears to be the red-based edition that will be available on Oct. 24.
Aside from the red-based version, the LeBron 13 will also arrive at retailers in "Berry" edition on Oct. 10. Both editions will be available for $220 per pair. Photos of the LeBron 13 "Berry" can be seen on this link.
