'Young and Hungry' Season 2, Episode 13 Spoilers: Sofia Gets Dumped, Elliot Tries Introducing Mom to His Fiancé
Tune into ABC Family on Wednesday for an all new episode of "Young and Hungry," where Sofia (Aimee Carrero) gets dumped and Elliot (Rex Lee) tries to warm his mother up to his love life.
In the new promo posted to the show's Facebook page, Sofia was sure her new beau was going to drop the "L" word soon. "He dropped the L word alright, 'Let go of my arm Sofia it's over,'" she sobbed to Gabi (Emily Osment) while eating a tub of ice cream.
Why did Sofia get dumped? Will she ever find Mr. Right? In past episodes, she usually skipped out on people after a few dates. Maybe she is just getting a taste of her own medicine this time around.
Meanwhile, Elliot is trying to warm his mother up to his love life. Only in the promo, he doesn't introduce her to his real non-Korean fiancé. Instead, he fakes a meeting with Josh (Jonathan Sadowski).
Is he just trying to see how his mother would react to him dating a white man? Josh looks very uncomfortable in the meeting, especially after Elliot insisted that Josh tell his mom that he loves his "cute tushie."
In a sneak peak of "Young and Unemployed" on SpoilersGuide, Elliot is confronted by his fiancé about getting the chance to meet his mother. Elliot is very uncomfortable about the idea and reveals that he hasn't even told his mother that he is engaged.
Will Elliot finally tell his mother the truth? Or will he jeopardize his relationship? At this point, his fiancé believes that he is embarrassed to tell his mom about him. "It's not you it's her," Elliot insists. "She's crazy mean."
Did Elliot just use Josh as a tester? And if it doesn't work out, will he ever let her meet his true love?
Tune into the next episode of "Young and Hungry" on ABC Family Wednesday night at 8 p.m. EDT to find out.
