Kylie Jenner and Tyga have been making headlines each day, following their public affection since the reality TV star is now of legal age to date the 25-year-old rapper.

The couple was apparently cited for being water wasters after the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District cracked down on violators in Calabasas, The Hollywood Reporter notes.

Calabasas uses twice the daily per-person gallon total of Santa Monica. A private security firm has helped officials to track down individuals who are guilty of using too much water and Jenner has made the list twice.

According to NBC Los Angeles, the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan has two violations. She also has a fine for using too much water for her $2.6 million home at a time when California is facing one of its biggest droughts.

Most lawns are turning brown during this drought but Jenner's big sister Kim Kardashian's lawn is just as green as hers.

Dave Pedersen, general manager of the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District which serves the Calabasas and Hidden Hills areas, says his agency aggressively reaches out to the community asking people to stop wasting water.

"We have actually reached out to celebrities in our district," Pedersen said. "I have personally written letters to them asking them to take a stand on conservation."

One of his letters is addressed to Kardashian while other stars cited for a violation include music mogul Dr. Dre, David Hasselhoff and actress Denise Richards.

"Nobody likes enforcement," Pedersen said. "We're not eager to do it and I'm not eager to do it, but it's a necessity."

The District continues to reach out to violators in order to meet its state-mandated goal of 36 percent reduction over a three-year period which ends in February 2017. The agency covers a stretch of affluent L.A. County towns.

In other news, Jenner is the star of Tyga's new music video "Stimulated." They have been public in less than a month and already have received major backlash. Some say their whole relationship is just a huge publicity stunt.
