Khloe Kardashian Weight Loss, Height and Diet: Star Reportedly Started Crash Diet After Lamar Odom Break-Up
Khloé Kardashian has been sporting a thin, new look but according to a tabloid, the reality star is using unhealthy means to get that way.
"Khloe's doing morning fasting and doesn't eat a single thing until around 2pm," a source told Heat magazine via Radar Online.
The British tabloid also claims that Kardashian is eating only 400 calories a day in order to keep her weight low.
"She only has a small piece of chicken or a can of tuna and steamed veggies for lunch, snacking on celery until dinner when she has a protein shake and more vegetables," Heat reports.
The 29-year-old Kardashian sister is reportedly 5'10", so a 400-calorie diet is hundreds of calories less than she should be eating per day. According to a Heat source, Kardashian's family is concerned about her extreme diet.
"Everyone in her life is begging her to eat more, but Khloe is refusing," the source said
The source also claimed that the unhealthy weight loss is a result of Kardashian's break up with husband Lamar Odom.
"She's not in a good place," the source continued. "Her self-esteem took such a hit when she broke up with Lamar."
A January interview with Kardashian points to different, more healthy, methods used for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star's weight loss.
"My entire life I've struggled with my weight, and I've tried probably every diet fad or quick fix and as soon as you eat food again it all comes back on," Kardashian told Daily Record. "So I've made a choice just to go to the gym and be healthy. I still eat what I want."
In fact, Kardahian claimed that she does not even like to diet.
"...I don't deprive myself," she continued. "...It took me about a year to lose 30lb, and I think that's a healthy way to do it. If I dieted, I'm sure it would be faster but I don't have that much discipline."
