Tori Spelling has filed a personal injury lawsuit against the popular hibachi restaurant Benihana, alleging that she suffered second and third degree burns after a grill fell on her last Easter while she dined at the eatery with her family.

According to People magazine, attorneys for the former "Beverly Hills 90210" star allege that her injuries resulted in "wage loses, hospital and medical expenses, general damage and loss of earning capacity."

The 42-year-old daughter of TV legend Aaron Spelling is reported to be seeking unspecified damages.

"Tori hadn't even started to eat, when she slipped and fell," a source previously told People. "Not thinking, she grabbed onto the side of the hot grill and burned her arm. At the time, it didn't seem as bad as the doctors told her it was the next day."

At the time of the accident, Spelling was dining with husband Dean McDermott and their four children.

The last several months have proven to be a trying time for the family, with reports of them experiencing financial woes running rampant. The family recently downsized from their California mansion to a far more humble abode.

In all, the family has now moved three different times over the last two years, with much of the work for the last move being down by the couple themselves.

In addition, McDermott's ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace recently assailed him as a "deadbeat dad" and alleged that he is several months behind on his court-ordered child support payments to his teenage son.

"Dean hasn't been paying Mary Jo what he owes," said a source. "She's really upset and wants him to pay up."

On Father's Day, Spelling and McDermott held a huge garage sale at their home in hopes of bringing in some extra cash.
