Apple is one of the greatest contenders when it comes to mobile gaming apps, and the fact that the company never actually dealt on Twitter game feed in the past remains a mystery to die-hard gaming fans.

That issue has been put to rest. Recently, the tech giant put up its first Twitter account solely for the purpose of gaming. According to Venture Beat, the company launched their handle @AppStoreGames on Twitter to distribute content, news and updates directly from the App Store editors.

The company is set to launch its latest Apple TV, which heavily points its existence to gaming. If this is an indication that the company has finally given in to the calls for a better approach to the gaming world, they are indeed taking a notable step towards it.

Apple's stand in the gaming world is not new; in fact, they have created games in the past that continuously dominate the gaming world. Also, as far as they are concerned, they will continue to develop these game apps to stay on top.

According to Verge, the dedicated Twitter feed for gaming was launched days before the initial introduction of the company's iMac TV. The consistency of backups, as well as a continued supply of interactive advertising, couldn't be more perfect.

For years, Apple remained mum about creating such dedicated feed to their gaming fans. But now that they are launching their iMac TV, which doubles as a gaming platform, it won't be surprising if you find other feeds on common social media sites just to make sure that the move is being heard. Some of the first tweets sent by Apple's App Game editors were about "Clash of Clans" and the famed "Angry Birds."

The Twitter feed will not only offer new games but will also update its followers on game previews, tips and tricks as well as some information about the best gamers in town.

According to AJC.com, the creation of the Twitter account is a sign that Apple plans to venture more in the gaming world, taking a step forward by the now obvious and recently set up Twitter feed and their upcoming iMac TV.

If indeed the presence of the two projects is a condition set to invade the gaming world, Apple will need not only dozens of editor to take on the part of providing constant content, but also a start on providing more gaming essentials to its fans.
