'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Cast News: Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi, Traci Johnson to Join Reality Show?
Teresa Giudice is all but certain to return to the cast of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" next season, but who she'll be starring alongside remains a bit of a mystery.
E! Online reports, other than Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice, no one from last season's cast is a lock to return for the upcoming season. Rumors are Bravo Network producers have already approached Traci Johnson, the wife of former NFL star Tiki Barber, and former "Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi about perhaps coming on board.
The website adds Jacqueline Laquita is likely to return from last season, while Amber Marchese, Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano have not been approached. Dina Manzo is already out. In addition, Kathy Wakile and Rose Pierri have both been recast as "friends" of the cast.
The season 7 cast is expected to be finalized by the end of September, and filming will begin shortly afterward. Rumors have long circulated that producers were delaying filming for the new season in hopes of being able to include Giudice in more of the scenes, after she has been released from prison sometime around Christmas.
The 43-year-old mother of four young daughters is currently serving out the remainder of her 15-month sentence on bank fraud-related charges at the Danbury Correctional facility. After she has been released, her husband Joe is slated to begin serving his 41-month sentence on similar charges.
Teresa is rumored to have signed a deal paying her up to $2 million per season, angering some of her costars, who are rumored to have teamed up to seek raises of their own.
Reports are Joe Giudice also recently inked a deal with the network to star in his own spinoff, which would chronicle his struggles as a single father trying to hold his family together while his wife is away.
