Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Divorce Rumors: Couple Attending Marriage Counseling Sessions Together?
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are rumored to be attending marriage counseling sessions together in hopes of saving their badly tattered marriage.
The Mirror reports the two were recently spotted leaving a doctor's appointment together in Los Angeles that was actually a two-hour counseling session. The two smiled and freely conversed with one another as they made their way to their vehicle following the session.
Back in June, the Hollywood power couple announced they were splitting after 10-years of marriage amid widespread rumors Affleck had cheated with Christine Ouzounian, the then nanny of their three young children.
While neither was wearing their wedding ring during the most recent LA sighting, reports are they are committed fully to wanting to maintain a united front for the sake of their three children: Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3.
Garner is rumored to have recently rethought her plan to live under the same roof with Affleck while the situation plays out, but the recent sighting clearly shows the two remain in close contact with one another. People magazine reported Garner and the children are now staying in the family home, while Affleck has rented a residence just up the street.
Garner only recently returned to town from Atlanta, where she was working on the set of the film "Miracles from Heaven."
Meanwhile, Affleck continues to deny ever being romantically involved with Ouzounian and a rep for him has denounced reports as "complete garbage and full of lies."
A source described as close to Affleck adds he and Ouzounian had "a work relationship and a friendship. There has never been a romantic or sexual relationship."
Yet another source adds the rumored affair was not the reason he and Garner decided to call it quits to begin with.
"This was not one of the reasons for the breakup," the source added. "There was no affair during or after [their marriage]. Ben and Jen have been separated for months."
