Hugo Chavez’s Daughters Refuse to Move Out Of Mansion; Throw Wild Parties While Venezuelan Protest’s Rage On
Do you think the Hilton sisters are the world's most annoying drama queens? You'll likely change your answer once you heard about two sisters from Venezuela. The women in question are Rosa Virginia, 35, and Maria Gabriela Chávez, 33. If you're familiar with Venezuelan politics then you'll know that these two are the daughter's of the late President Hugo Chávez.
So what are Rosa and Maria doing that is so outrageous? Well, their father passed away in March of 2013 and they still haven't moved out of his former residence, the palatial presidential mansion. Meanwhile, current Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has a constitutional right to live in the mansion with his own family. They also are hard partying and bratty.
Worst of all, the sister's actions are reminiscent of Marie Antoinette's out-of-touch behavior. Their country is in the midst of anti-government unrest, yet they don't seem too care as they dance the night away in the mansion. Many of their countrymen and women led meager existences at best. The highfalutin sisters could be targeted and harmed if they keep turning a blind eye to the violence being perpetuated by Nicolás Maduro's regime. At least when their father Chávez was in power he didn't repress the people to such an exorbitant extent.
Just how bad is the violence in Venezuela at this moment? Bad enough that a popular beauty queen, 22-year-old Genesis Carmona, got killed. According to the Daily Mail, Carmona's relatives are understandably upset with her death and the ongoing violence.
"How long are we going to live like this? How long do we have to tolerate this pressure, with them killing us?" one of Carmona's relative remarked. "She only needed one more semester to graduate," he added.
Of course Maduro denies he is at fault. He wants to project a powerful, just image of himself and he is crying foul at CNN Espanol for telling the truth about his evil ways...
"I've asked the (information) minister to tell CNN we have started the administrative process to remove them from Venezuela if they don't rectify (their behavior)," Maduro exclaimed on state TV.
"Enough! I won't accept war propaganda against Venezuela."
Meanwhile, Rosa and Maria are only worried about where their next cocktail is coming from.
