True love was found in paradise on the "Bachelor in Paradise" Season 2 finale on Monday, when bachelor Tanner Tolbert proposed marriage to Jade Roper.

"I've never felt like this for anybody," Roper told People magazine. "I tell Tanner all the time, what we have is very rare. It's very special."

When the two met on the show they had instant chemistry, but Tolbert lacked confidence.

"Jade was number one on my list, but I didn't think I had a chance!" he said.

Once the pair started talking, things evolved quickly. They were rooming together by the show's third night.

"That was my favorite part," Roper, who operates a cosmetics line, told People. "Every morning we would wake up and before the [producers] would come mic us, we would be able to be really open with each other and talk about anything. That brought us a lot closer really quickly."

The engagement, which happened three weeks after they met, felt right to the couple, both of whom are 28.

"It does seem crazy," Tolbert, who is a finance manager, said. "I thought there was zero chance of this. But when you're there and you spend so much time together from the get-go, three weeks is like nine months of real dating."

Roper explained that being free "from all the distractions of real life" allowed her and Tolbert to focus on each other. Their relationship developed naturally, and they took it seriously.

"We had easy fun conversations but also the hard conversations you have six months into a relationship. It was just condensed," she said.

What's next for the "Bachelor in Paradise" couple? Tolbert and Roper plan to live together in his native Kansas City. They have also began planning for their dream wedding.

"I've been looking at wedding ideas on Pinterest and sending them to Tanner," said Roper.

It is a happy ending for Roper, who earlier in the season was smitten with Chris Harrison. She introduced Harrison to her family and told him about her posing naked in Playboy, and starred in two Playboy Amateur films, "Convertible Cruising" and "Lounge Act," according to OK! Magazine. He dumped her a few days later.
