Is Selena Gomez taking her dating life in another direction? Despite TMZ reports claiming that the former Disney star is "addicted" to her first love, "Baby" singer Justin Bieber, Gomez has reportedly moved on.

The sultry Latina is rumored to be seeing Irishman Niall Horan of One Direction fame. Dating members of the uber-popular British boy band seems to be a priority for every single straight girl on the planet.

Don't believe us? Well, up until recently One Direction's Harry Styles was in a high-profile relationship. Styles was romancing 18-year-old Kendall Jenner of Keeping Up With The Kardashians fame. Unfortunately, the stunning brunette dumped him. Hopefully, Horan has more luck than his bandmate.

A Gomez-Horan pairing wouldn't be out of the ordinary. Both parties were single before all the rumors started cropping up. And get this... According to Entertainment Wise, Gomez is good friends with the One Direction lad's. One bit of evidence that's particularly damming is that the Gomez and Horan hooked up once before in November 2012. They also know the pressures and pitfalls each other faces due to their celebrity status.

Horan is wise beyond his years. He will only date a girl that he thinks truly likes him.

"You have to find the one who likes you for being normal, not just for being in One Direction," Horan said.

He's a true romantic and only wants to date his one true love (take that, Taylor Swift).

"I'm still waiting for her to come around. I am the same as anyone. I'm just waiting for the right person to stand in front of me.

"Being single doesn't mean that you're weak. It means you're strong enough to wait for what you deserve," he said.

Gomez made a similar statement to the New York Daily News last August.

"It gets too clouded so I just have good people around me. I'm very picky. The hardest part [is] just trying to find someone that will just love the core person and not anything else around it."

If they are kindling a romance, they must both have great poker faces. And if one of them dumps the other, then they're crazy!
