With the PlayStation One launching 20 years ago today, Sony has came out with three more updated consoles.

In 2000, the PlayStation 2 was launched and was a massive success. The bestselling game of that era was Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which sold over 17 million copies.

In 2006, the PlayStation 3 was released where it was the first system to have a wireless controller and play Blu-Ray discs. The bestselling game during that time? Grand Theft Auto V, which sold over 20 million units.

Finally, in November of 2013, the PlayStation 4 was released. Currently, it has sold over 22.3 million units. Games such as Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Grand Theft Auto V and Batman Arkham Knight has been released for the newest console.

It has been a long but successful road for Sony and its consoles.

The sale is running until next Wednesday, Sept. 14.
